With a vibrant and eclectic cultural scene, London is often considered one of the most culturally diverse cities in the world. We’ve compiled a list of the best London Summer Festivals for you to attend.


Hampton Court Palace Festival –11th-23rd June

With a spectacular back drop of a Tudor palace, top class international acts perform to 3,000 audience members in this relatively intimate music festival. Typically showcasing a wide variety of musical genres, from classical to pop, jazz to opera, Hampton Court Palace is a unique addition to the UKs music festival scene. This year’s headliners include Jools’ Holland, Paloma Faith and, in the first show of its kind at the Festival, a double-bill of comedy from Alan Davies and Paul Merton. We also have some fabulous London Tours and Day Tours from London including our visit to the beautiful Hampton Court Palace, the world famous Windsor Castle and a showcase of the best London highlights.


Pride in London – Various venues – 21st-27th June

Last years’ festivities saw around 250,000 people descend on the city to celebrate London’s LGBT+ community in a parade of over 30,000 participants, and this year is set to be bigger and better than before.  The week long programme is expected to include exhibitions, film screenings, lectures and much more from a selection of artists from the LBGT+ community and beyond. Culminating in one of the world’s largest Pride Parade’s, and live entertainment throughout the day from 2 different stages, Pride in London is going to be spectacular this year.


Ambitions Festival – Croydon – 23rd-26th July

Featuring talent both new and old, this festival features well known acts such as Soul 2 Soul and British Folk act Beans on Toast. Taking place at various venues across Croydon, and with some events free of charge, Ambitions Festival certainly does showcase an ambitious range of genres – Blues, folk, electropop, rock, gospel, rap… you name it, Ambitions has it. Keep an eye out for Grace Savage, beatboxer and vocalist extraordinaire; she’s sure to blow you away.


Taste of London – Regents Park – 17th-21st June

THE consumer food event of the summer, Taste of London is to land in Regents Park in five days filled with some of the best food the city has to offer. Watch live demonstrations, dip into an interactive masterclass from some of the world’s top chefs, enjoy a wine tasting or simply browse the many stalls and displays from food and drink retailers from around the world … there’s a bit of everything at Taste of London.
